Anthropic Valued at $5B

Anthropic is an A.I. startup co-founded by ex-staffers of OpenAI.

They are close to securing another $300M in funding, which would place their valuation around $5B.

Not too shabby for a company founded in 2021.

The recent investment is nothing new in silicon valley as more venture capitalists turn their eyes towards “generative” A.I.

Here are some recent generative AI startups that have received interest from investors 👀:

• Character.AI

• Replika

• You.com

We expect more venture capital dollars to be poured into A.I., even during the current tech downturn.

Oh yeah, we almost forgot to mention…

The majority of Anthropics funding was from Sam Bankman-Fried.

Ya probably have heard of him, he’s an ex-cryptoer and current criminal.

We’ll see what happens to Anthropic if a bankruptcy court comes calling.

Human AI Voice Actors

Voice acting might be the next industry getting shaken up by A.I.

A Reddit user, u/Ortamis recently used “ChatGPT to write a story and ElevenLabs Prime Voice AI to read the entire thing".

We’re not gonna go as far as to say “human voice acting is obsolete.”

Although you can probably say bye-bye to those Fiverr voice-over narration gigs.

However, it seems the industry is ripe for disruption.

A Twitter user by the name of mileszim created them using Midjourney.

Midjourney is an A.I. art generation tool, similar to OpenAI’s DALL-E.

Although the pictures are impressive, we noticed the A.I. has a hard time drawing hands and teeth.

Go take a look for yourself.
