What’s GPT-4 capable of?

Keep in mind, the LLM has only been out for 5 days. 🤯

What makes GPT-4 so powerful?

The previous model of GPT, GPT-3 is only trained on 175 billion parameters. GPT-4 is estimated to be trained on over 100 trillion parameters. The increased parameters allow the new model to be more creative and coherent than previous versions.

GPT-4 is also multimodal, which means it works with both text and images.

Microsoft unveils Copilot 👩‍✈️

Last Thursday, two days after GPT-4 was unveiled, Microsoft took the limelight as they unveiled Copilot for Microsoft 365.

The LLM is integrated into the entire Microsoft suite, allowing for a more efficient user experience.

Let’s break it down:

• Copilot in Word - Can jump-start the creative process by giving you a first draft to iterate on. Assist users in writing, editing, and summarizing. Provides suggestions on the conciseness of paragraphs and altering the tone.

• Copilot in PowerPoint - Creates beautiful presentations with simple prompts. Can pull information from relevant previous documents.

• Copilot in Excel - Helps analyze trends and create data visualizations instantly. Answers questions about data in natural language rather than formulas.

• Copilot in Teams - Summarizes key discussion points and suggests action items in real-time.

• Copilot in Outlook - Assists in clearing your inbox within minutes.

Midjourney, the ultra-popular AI generative image platform, launched V5 last Wednesday.

The newest version of the platform features:

• Higher image quality

• Improved dynamic range

• Better responses to prompting
