Shutterstock's New Generative AI Tool

Stock images are getting a major revamp this week.

Shutterstock (one of the OGs in the stock image game), just announced the release of their new generative AI platform.

We went ahead and gave it try, the only prompt we gave it was 'Sentient'.

Pretty gnarly.

The company recently announced a partnership with OpenAI, creators of the image AI DALL-E. Looks like it's paying off.

The new tool is available to customers' existing license packages.

Flawless AI

We all went through that Hollywood phase when we were younger.

Dreams of acting under the bright lights.

Those childhood dreams might come true soon thanks to Flawless AI.

Flawless AI is a London-based 'Neural Network Lab specializing in ground-breaking A.I. technology specifically in the TV & Film field.'

They recently unveiled their new AI editing software that uses performance tracking and 3D modeling to alter facial movements.

In this case, they performed full dialogue reconstruction.

We have to admit, that's pretty damn impressive.

Eventually, the technology will allow you to digitally insert yourself into your favorite movies.

Now you can finally live out your dreams of being Vito Corleone.

AI Taskforce Recommends $2.6B Funding

It's time to break out the Benjamins, there's a new task force in town.

The National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource Task Force (that's a mouthful), recently unveiled their implementation plan for 'Strengthening and Democratizing the U.S. Artificial Intelligence Innovation Ecosystem'.

The 104-page report outlined their plan 'to strengthen and democratize the U.S. AI innovation ecosystem in a way that protects privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties.'

Ultimately, the goal is to 'transform the U.S. national AI research ecosystem and facilitate the ability to address societal-level problems by strengthening and democratizing participation in foundational, use-inspired, and translational AI R&D in the United States.'

So, what's the catch?

The estimated budget for the NAIRR is $2.6 billion over an initial six-year period.

💀

That's it for today. We'll see ya back here tomorrow!
